About LAE Kids - Spanish Courses for Kids and Families in Madrid

Natasha Mason, LAE Kids owner

Founded by Natasha Mason, a mum and long-time Spanish learner, LAE Kids was born out of a need for fun, effective, and immersive Spanish education for children. As a mother looking to raise her child bilingual in Madrid, Natasha struggled to find quality language programs focused solely on teaching children Spanish. She couldn’t find any schools with the accreditations or personalized care she was searching for — so she decided to create one herself.

Having spent years learning Spanish and understanding the challenges of language acquisition, Natasha had started LAE Madrid, an accredited Spanish School for Adults in Madrid. She  knew the importance of motivating children and making learning exciting and relevant. With her own child in mind, she set out to build a space where children could engage with Spanish in a natural, play-based environment that encouraged growth, curiosity, and cultural connection.

LAE Kids: Inspired by Families, Designed for Kids

After founding LAE Madrid, Natasha met numerous families who shared her desire for dynamic, child-centered classes. They wanted personalized education, where their kids could not only learn the language but also immerse in the culture of Spain. That’s when Natasha realized that the need for specialized Spanish education for kids wasn’t just personal — it was global. Parents everywhere were looking for a program that would engage their children, support their development, and give them the confidence to speak Spanish from an early age.

Natasha partnered with child learning experts, psychologists, and primary school teachers to develop a unique methodology that would inspire children to love Spanish. Together, they created a nurturing environment that would help kids feel motivated, engaged, and excited to learn — all while building fluency naturally.

Why LAE Kids Is Different

Before long, LAE Kids was welcoming children and families from all over the world, all seeking that same sense of community, care, and quality that Natasha had envisioned. Today, LAE Kids is recognized as one of Madrid’s premier Spanish schools for children, with a strong reputation for offering dynamic classes that cater to each child’s needs and interests.

With a foundation built on passion, expertise, and a love for language, LAE Kids, as well as its dedicated teachers and support team, continues to inspire children to embrace the Spanish language and culture with enthusiasm..

Our Expert Team: The Heart of LAE Kids

At LAE Kids, we believe that the key to effective learning lies in passionate educators who understand the needs of each child. Our team is more than just a group of teachers — we are a dedicated community of specialists, each bringing their unique skills, experience, and love for teaching to every child’s learning journey.

Our Teachers: Native, Experienced, and Child-Centered

Our native Spanish teachers are at the core of everything we do. Each teacher is carefully selected not only for their teaching credentials but also for their ability to connect with children and create an engaging, supportive classroom environment. We believe in the power of personalized learning, which is why our teachers take the time to get to know each child — their interests, their strengths, and areas where they need extra support.

Our teachers specialize in language acquisition for young learners and have extensive experience in working with children of all ages, from young learners to the prickly teen years! They create dynamic, play-based lessons that encourage children to explore, experiment, and express themselves in Spanish. By making learning feel like play, our teachers ensure that children stay motivated and excited throughout their Spanish learning journey.

Child Development Experts: Nurturing Growth Beyond Language

At LAE Kids, we don’t just focus on language development — we also prioritize child development as a whole. That’s why we work closely with child psychologists and development specialists who help shape our approach. This collaboration ensures that our learning methods are not only effective but also supportive of each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

Our team works together to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and build their confidence. Every day, our teachers encourage children to be curious, ask questions, and think critically in Spanish — all while helping them develop essential life skills, such as problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity.

Dedicated, expert Support Staff: Ensuring a Seamless Experience for Families

Behind the scenes, our dedicated support staff works hard to ensure that everything runs smoothly. From our administrative team to our coordinators, each staff member is committed to providing families with the highest level of service and support.

Our team is always available to answer any questions, whether it’s about class schedules, learning progress, or special requests. We understand that every family has unique needs, and we go above and beyond to make sure every experience at LAE Kids is personalized and stress-free.
