Spanish Immersion Camp in Madrid

At LAE Kids’ Fall Spanish Immersion Camp in Madrid, families dive into the Spanish language through fun, interactive activities designed especially for homeschooling, worldschooling, and unschooling families.

If you’re not part of this community but looking to start your bilingual journey, this experience would be the perfect introduction!

Whether you want your child to experience Spanish learning for homeschoolers in Spain, or your family is travelling as part of a worldschooling program, our camp offers the perfect combination of small-group language learning, cultural exploration, and family connection.

Set in the heart of Madrid, our camp keeps groups to a maximum of 8 children to guarantee personalised attention and true immersion.

We’ll also welcome Naomi Noyes, a Spanish teacher and bilingual mom, who’s created materials and advisory services for families looking to venture into the world of homeschooling and bilingualism. A two-hour workshop each week will be included in the camp for all families.

Our full Spanish immersion methodology means your child learns naturally — through games, creative workshops, outdoor adventures, and mini city explorations; all adapted to their age, level, and interests within a structured framework that supports homeschool Spanish program goals.

Our Spanish Immersion Camp

Max. 8 per group

Kids 4-12

At LAE Kids Madrid, we’re based in the beautiful and authentic Barrio Salamanca, one of the city’s most traditional and exclusive neighborhoods.
Our school is set in a charming building that’s over 100 years old, full of natural light, spacious classrooms, and plenty of room to move, play, and learn.

We’re lucky to be just around the corner from a leafy park, where we head each day for our mid-morning break under the trees — the perfect spot for the kids to recharge and burn off some energy.

Inside the school, each classroom is fully equipped for young learners and we have a fully equipped kitchen on-site, perfect for cooking activities and preparing snacks throughout the day.

Every child receives a reusable water bottle in their welcome pack to make sure they stay hydrated while having fun!

Historic charm, modern comforts, and a whole lot of Spanish adventure — all in the heart of Madrid!

Once a week, parents are invited to take part in an exclusive two-hour workshop with bilingual education expert Naomi Noyes from Niños and Nature.

Naomi specialises in guiding homeschooling, worldschooling, and unschooling families through the journey of raising bilingual children. Her sessions combine practical strategies, language development insights, and real-life examples to help you create a language-rich environment at home, wherever in the world you are.

These workshops are included in the camp program and are a chance for parents to connect, ask questions, and gain tools that make Spanish learning an ongoing part of family life. It’s a unique opportunity to learn from an international leader in bilingual education while your kids enjoy their own immersive camp activities.

At our Spanish Immersion Camp in Madrid, every day brings a new Spanish adventure. Themes include nature, the city, famous artists, Spanish cuisine, music, and fall in Madrid. Our talented teachers prepare vocabulary and grammar activities linked to the theme and adapt them for each age group.

For families looking for a Spanish immersion for kids in Madrid or a Spanish camp for homeschooling families, the program blends interactive classroom learning with real-world practice. Children work on creative projects, both individually and in teams, to practise Spanish in a natural way that builds confidence and communication skills.

During camp hours, only Spanish is spoken to create a fully immersive environment. Our teachers can support in other languages if needed, ensuring every child feels included and secure.

On three afternoons each week, families can choose join us for cultural adventures and shared experiences, such as:

  • Treasure hunt around Madrid’s historic centre

  • Fall art in Retiro Park using natural materials

  • Visits to museums and cultural centres like the Matadero and the Natural Science Museum

These experiences are perfect for worldschooling families in Spain who want to combine cultural learning with language practice. Lunch is included on these days, giving families the chance to share a meal and use their Spanish together.

The Tardes en Familia – afternoon activities (plus lunch) are charged separately (300€ per week per child (discounts for siblings), all parents go free)).

At LAE Kids Madrid, even though our activities are packed with fun and excitement, they’re so much more than just play!

Children at this age are like sponges, soaking up new skills every minute — and our Spanish teaching methodology take full advantage of that!

Our days aren’t just about learning new vocabulary and grammar structures. We also focus on helping kids develop important life skills and motor skills through hands-on activities.

When we make an omelette, kids learn to cook, follow instructions, and use kitchen and food vocabulary. Painting a picture not only sparks creativity but also strengthens fine motor skills while learning colours and descriptive words. Even something as simple as playing shop teaches numeracy, social interaction, and practical vocabulary.

Shh… don’t tell them — they think they’re just having loads of fun!

At LAE Kids Madrid, your child will join a group of children from all over the world!

We’ll be welcoming families that are all walking the same educational journey as you and your family. You’ll be able to socialise in our communal spaces and connect with families during the group activities. You’ll form part of an International, like-minded community of homeschooling and worldschooling families

Our teachers put a big focus on helping students connect with their classmates and gain the confidence they need to speak and participate fully in Spanish.

Throughout all activities, Spanish is the only language spoken, creating a truly immersive environment. However, our teachers are able to support students in other languages if needed, ensuring every child feels comfortable and understood.

We also offer Spanish classes for adults at LAE Madrid, our accredited Spanish school, which runs outo of the same building as the Madrid camp. Click here to see our Spanish Academy for adults in Madrid. Parents will have access to our communal relaxation areas and co-working space during the camp.

There is always a first aider on staff at the school.  All our teachers have been vetted and have their police certificates.  We make sure we have the most up to date information about any allergies, special education needs or any issues that are important to you or your child.
